The Dead Elvis Scooter Rally, presented by the Memphis Kings S/C, is a celebration of anything scooters & everything Elvis… Held over the weekend of September11-13 in Memphis, TN, the Dead Elvis Scooter Rally offers everything you’re looking for in the home of Rock, Blues & Soul…
Friday begins with Registration at Calhoun’s Sports Bar, including Burgers, Dogs & Beverages, followed by a visit to the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium (off-Beale St), home of 200 beers from around the world & some Memphis music…
Saturday after Late-Registration & Billy-Bob’s infamous Breakfast Burritos, join in the Elvis Scooter Cruise with photo op’s including Lauderdale Courts (Elvis’ 1st Memphis apartment), Sun Studio, SuperCycle Museum (Elvis’ Bike Builder) & Graceland… Saturday afternoon brings us back to the MS River for Scooter Judging & Awards, Heartbreak Scooter Gymkhana & Slow Race, plus a Prize-winning BBQ Dinner & Awards Banquet (Trophies said to be legendary)…
Sunday concludes with Breakfast at the Arcade Restaurant, Memphis’ Oldest & an Elvis Favorite (Elvis booth), followed by a visit to STAX, home to so many Soul hits you’ll feel like a Shaft of Green Onions… We’ll end the day with a final Beers & Bands ride out to Shake Rag, TN, Biker Boogie-Land…
